Bout of Books – Road Trip Challenge

Today’s challenge is a road trip, hosted by Steph in Wonderland.  The challenge was to come up with four or five places you’d like to visit and then find either a book that takes place there or is written by an author who lives there.  Also, it has to be a book you’ve read or want to read.

My Book Road Trip:

Japan: Cloud of Sparrows by Matsuoka Takashi (takes place mainly in various parts of Japan)
Israel: The Red Tent by Anita Diamant (takes place in Ancient Israel/Canaan)
London: A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness (takes place in London, among other locales)
Washington (state): Moon Called by Patricia Briggs (takes place in the Tri-cities area of Washington)
Oregon (state): River Marked by Patricia Briggs (takes place in Oregon along the Columbia River)

What books represent where you want to travel?
