Day 4 of Bout of Books 16 has come and gone. My progress report:
Dust of Dreams by Steven Erikson (reread) – 1 chapter, on track
The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine – 20 chapters + epilogue, finished
Whispers Underground by Ben Aaronovitch – 1 chapter
That’s the second book finished during this read-a-thon, which makes one goal down. Now I just have to stay on track with DoD and keep reading other books.

I’ve been meaning to read The Shadow Queen. How is it so far?
I liked it but I didn’t love it. Interesting twists on the Snow White tale with enough divergences to keep it interesting, but there was definitely still room for improvement.
