WWW Wednesday – 9/20

It’s WWW Wednesday, a weekly reading meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.  To participate, answer the three w’s and link up with Sam’s masterpost.  No blog?  Leave your answers in the comments section.

The three w’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished?
What will you read next?

Currently Reading: Some progress with Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson, but nothing to really brag about.
I’m making decent headway with Endsinger by Jay Kristoff, but it’s slow going because heartbreak.  Which, well, I expected that going in.
And I also started The Six-Gun Tarot by R.S. Belcher this week.  It’s a lighter read than the other two and I’m enjoying the change of pace, especially since I haven’t read a lot of weird westerns before.

Recently Finished: I got through Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee in time for my book club meeting today and I loved it.  The learning curve is a bit steep, but I found the occasional frustration to be an acceptable entry price.  Review should go up tomorrow.

Reading Next: Ideally I’d like to finish one of my current reads before picking up a new book, but next on my line up is The Devourers by Indra Das.

What are you reading this week?

I’m so glad you liked your book club selection! It’s so great when those line up. Too often I just hate them and can’t wait for them to end, lol. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

Yeah, I’ve had that issue before. But I usually at least want to discuss them, even when I hate them.
Thanks for hosting and happy reading!

lol I’m the same. It’s almost more fun to go when you hated it.

There’s definitely more to say sometimes about a book you don’t like. And there is often more discussion I’ve noticed when at least one person hated the book, especially if someone else loved it.
