WWW Wednesday – 6/6

It has, once again, been a while since I’ve participated in one of these.  I will continue to try and do so.  It would be nice to get a streak going again…

It’s WWW Wednesday, a weekly reading meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.  To participate, answer the three w’s and link up with Sam’s masterpost.  No blog?  Leave your answers in the comments section.

The three w’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished?
What will you read next?

Currently Reading: Is anyone surprised to see Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson still on this list?  I really do like this novel, but it’s depressing and I’ve had enough trouble fighting off the blues without help from my reading material, so I’ve once again walked away from it.  I’m hoping to be in a good enough place mentally to come back to it within the next week or two.

Recently Finished: Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy.  Since the last time I posted, I’ve also finished Stories of Your Life…and Others by Ted Chiang.  That review went up yesterday; Shaman will go up tomorrow.

Reading Next: I don’t know.  I really don’t, because every time I’ve made a prediction this year I’ve ignored or postponed that read.  Something to break my slump would be nice, though.

There’s a thought! My last YA novel was a bit disappointing but they’re such quick reads that it’s definitely worth another shot. Thanks for the suggestion!
Happy reading and thanks for hosting!

I hope you will find something that will help you out of your slump soon! Maybe rereading one of your old favorites would help? Happy reading!
