WWW Wednesdays – 7/11

It’s WWW Wednesday, a weekly reading meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.  To participate, answer the three w’s and link up with Sam’s masterpost.  No blog?  Leave your answers in the comments section.

The three w’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished?
What will you read next?

Currently Reading: I finished my last Malazan book finally, so my new one is Deadhouse Landing by Ian C. Esslemont.  So far I’m enjoying it very much.
My other heavy book right now is a reread of Blood Song by Anthony Ryan so I can finally get to Tower Lord since I’ve been neglecting this series for so long.
I’m also reading Wind Rider’s Oath by David Weber, as a bit of a cleanser for my more serious reads.

Recently Finished: Being on vacation did wonders for my reading!  I finally got through Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson (vacation=happier mindset=good for reading depressing things) and I also read Wires and Nerve volume 2 by Marissa Meyer and Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card volumes 1-3 by CLAMP (all reviews coming for these are now out)!  Aside from that, I reread Oath of Swords and War God’s Own by David Weber and The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey in preparation for continuing on with those unfinished series.  All in all, a very successful week and a half!

Reading Next: Just as soon as I get my hands on The Shadow Hour by Melissa Grey, I’ll be continuing on with that series.  For now, though, I’ve got a lot on my plate, so I’m not in a hurry to get to this one – but I’d like to get to it before I have to reread the first in the series again!

What are you reading this week?

Kudos for reading so much on vacation! Sounds like time well spent! And you finished Erickson which is doubly awesome. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

Yeah, I was very proud of myself for that one. I hope you also get a lot of reading done while you’re on vacation, in between having fun playing tourist, of course!
Thanks for hosting and happy reading!
