Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon 2017 Wrap Up

The Tackle Your TBR Read-a-Thon is over as of yesterday and I am so bad for getting this wrap up post done at the end of today.

My Goal: Finish 3 books (hopefully one of them being Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson).

Results: Well, I finished three books – Late Eclipses by Seanan McGuire, Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee, and Endsinger by Jay Kristoff.  I still feel accomplished despite not managing to get through FoD.

Hope everyone else participating did what they wanted.  And, if not, hope you at least got some reading in!

Tackle Your TBR Read-a-Thon 2017 Mid-Point Update

So technically I’m about a day or two late with this post, but I’m just happy I’m getting it up at all between work and upcoming holidays – I can’t believe it’s already the New Year!

My goal for the read-a-thon this year was to get through three books.  So far, I’ve managed two!  But neither is Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson, which is the one I desperately wanted to finish.  Oh well, there’s still time.  My total page count, for those interested, is currently 917.

Good luck to everyone else participating!

Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon 2017

That’s right, I’m participating in the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon hosted by Tressa over at Wishful Endings!

If you’re interested in joining, head on over here, read the rules, and sign up!

I’m participating in the hopes of helping with my goal for the 2017 Beat the Backlist Challenge, but also because I did this last year and had a fun time with it.  I’m one of those people who does great with deadlines so TYTBR is great motivation for me.

My Goal for TYTBR Read-a-thon 2017: Get through at least three books on my TBR (aiming for one to be Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson).  You might think this is an easy goal but I’m going into busy season for theater (three plays coming up, all at once!) so not so much.

Good luck to everyone participating!
