It’s once again Wednesday, which means WWW Wednesday, a weekly reading meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To participate, head over to Sam’s master post and comment with a link to your answers to the three w’s.
The three w’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish?
What will you read next?
Currently Reading: I’m making progress with The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman, but it’s still been slow-going. I’m also trying to get through my reread of Steven Erikson’s Toll the Hounds. On top of that, I’ve started The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows.
Recently Finished: Four books, yay! Over the past week, I’ve finished A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen, and Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. All were quick, easy reads.
Reading Next: I think I will have a long wait for the sequel to Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, and I still have to read the sequels to several other YA novels I finished recently, so those are next on my list.
What are all of you reading this week?
I hope you enjoyed the Sarah J. Maas books. I don’t think they’re perfect, but they are incredibly enjoyable and easy to get into. I’m looking forward to the sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses next year because I think it has the potential to be better than the first book. I hope Crown of Midnight comes in quickly for you. I still think it’s the best book in the Throne of Glass series.

So far so good. They’ve got flaws and cliches, but if the book is enjoyable then I can overlook those, and I can in this case.
Happy Wednesday!
I’m glad you’re sticking with ‘The Light Between Oceans.’ I thought it was great (but I’ve already told you that, haha). Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
I hate DNFing books, even if I seem to do it at least once a year. And it’s been picking up recently.
Thanks for visiting!
I really like the sound of The Light Between Oceans, not heard of it before.
Thanks for visiting my post already – http://bookboodle.co.uk/2015/11/11/www-wednesday-november-11th 🙂
It started kind of slow but now I’m making decent progress with it. If you like historical fiction and moral shades of gray, I would definitely recommend it.
Thanks for visiting!
I’m definitely going to add to my list 🙂
